I teach IB Maths with a strong focus on AA, especially functions, calculus and probability. Most of my students come to me when class notes stop making sense or revision turns into memorising markschemes. I usually work through past-paper questions quite early, then fill in gaps as we go. I also help with IA planning, mostly around choosing a workable topic and keeping the maths clear enough to score well.

I’m an IB English tutor with a literature background, and I spend a lot of time helping students shape essays that actually sound like them. I like using short questions throughout the lesson instead of one long explanation. I also help students tidy up IA ideas before they become too ambitious, which saves a lot of stress later on.

I tutor IB Physics for students who want clear explanations without too much fluff. A lot of my lessons are about mechanics, electricity and fields, because those tend to trip people up once the algebra gets mixed in. I’m quite methodical with past-paper practice and I pay close attention to how marks are awarded. For IAs, I usually help students narrow the question first, then sort out the processing and evaluation sections properly.

I teach IB Psychology and usually work with students who are overloaded by studies, names and essay structure. We spend a lot of time on how to use research properly rather than just trying to memorise everything on a sheet. I’m particularly interested in the sociocultural and abnormal options, and I also help with ERQ planning and IA write-ups. Lessons are calm, focused and usually very practical because that’s what this subject needs.

I’ve taught IB Economics for several years and much of my work is with HL students who need sharper exam technique rather than more theory. We cover micro, macro and global economics in a connected way, so diagrams, chains of reasoning and evaluation feel less mechanical. I also support commentary writing and IA portfolio planning. My approach is fairly direct: define the issue, build the analysis properly, and only then worry about polishing the answer.

I tutor IB Business Management with a practical angle, which suits students who find the subject too vague in class. We spend time on command terms, case-study technique and how to turn business ideas into answers that actually match the markbands. I’m often asked for help with the IA because students either go too descriptive or pick weak research questions. I like the subject most when strategy and real business decisions start to connect.

I teach IB Geography and I’ve found students do best when the case studies are kept current and manageable, not memorised in giant chunks. I enjoy topics like urban environments, development and resource consumption, and I’m quite strict about using evidence properly in long answers. We also work on map, graph and data-response questions because those marks add up quickly. For the IA, I can help from fieldwork planning through to evaluation.

I’m an IB History tutor and most of my students come to me for essay writing, source work and revision before mocks or finals. I teach the subject as an argument, not a timeline, which usually helps once Paper 2 and Paper 3 questions get more specific. I particularly enjoy modern history and authoritarian states, but I’m just as happy working through document analysis step by step. I also give detailed feedback on Internal Assessments when needed.
